Meet Virginia.

I came home from Virginia not too long ago.
How I already miss it. It's pretty crazy. This isn't home to me.
The sky is too far away, none of the land I walk on tries to kiss the sky. The sunsets are dull and the colors seem to just fade away. The trees all are bent out of shape here and the air is always thick.
VA. is a different world. The north is a different world.
The sky yearns for the earth and the earth reaches for the sky. The sky is always filled with colors and the clouds so fluffy. The air is so crisp. A gentle breeze can always be found at the perfect moment. The footsteps of mountains can be seen from the distance. It's all quite beautifully done. The sunrise and sunset is simply said as beautiful.
It's stolen my heart and a deep longing has been replaced. I've never been a big fan of the south, but Virginia is as southern as I'll get and for just the fact that it's beautiful there and doesn't have to try.
Sadly it'll be another year of suffering before I head off into my own snow country. I can only hope time goes faster.

Lexington, VA. If you haven't seen it yet, you should.
